Carol T. Insley

  • Grew up in Washington, DC
  • BS from Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina
  • Eight years in retail management in DC and Bozeman, MT
  • MS in Elementary Education, University of Wisconsin-River Falls
  • Teaching in River Falls, WI School District prior to 11/25/2007
  • After Nov. 2007, became Aaron’s advocate and primary caregiver,
    managing PCA caregivers at home for 10 years starting Nov 2008
  • Hobbies: quilting, volunteering in schools, laughing at the dogs
  • Current occupation is President and CEO of Granite House, Inc.
  • Serving second term as member of the Minnesota Department of 

                Human Services Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee
